The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the large number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of here clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services level made for intervention activities a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
